Arousal is embodied

Our inner world, the life of our imagination with its intense feelings, fears, and loves, guides our intentions and actions in the world.

Visionary artist, Alex Grey

Intense feelings are non-rational, intuitive and judgmental. They reveal very quickly and clearly our particular point-of-view and what holds the highest value to us.⠀

There is a personal point of balance for each of us where we are sufficiently aroused to be provoked to action, to pay attention.

We can bridge this inner world, acknowledging our intense feelings, fears, and loves through art making and artful contemplation. Then arousal may be embodied, a mindful act of creative interaction. ⠀
